As President of GenCap Construction Corp, Rob provides oversight support with the project team and ensures that the Owner’s goals are realized, through a culture of open and transparent communication. Rob’s top priority is to grow and develop GenCap’s business reach through exceptional experiences with our customers. Rob is engaged with all cost estimate reviews, schedule reviews, site logistics planning and subcontractor price negotiations which support the most cost-effective solution for the Owner. During his 27-year tenure in construction, Rob has served in various leadership positions such as Chief Estimator, Project Executive and Director of Design Phase Solutions. Rob has professionally spoken on Progressive Design-Build and GCCM alternative project delivery, Lean Practices and Integrated Project Delivery at AIA, DBIA, University of Washington, Washington State University and Society of American Military Engineers. Rob graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. degree in Construction Management and is a certified DBIA Professional.

Rob joined GenCap in 2017 with more than 25+ years of construction experience holding a variety of leadership positions while focusing on a wide range of product types. As a result, Rob possesses extensive knowledge in both public and private markets with expertise in mixed use/multi family, higher education, sports, water/waste-water treatment, hotel/hospitality and laboratory/bio science market sectors. This comprehensive experience grants Rob a unique perspective of many project delivery models, contributing to the overall growth and success of GenCap and our customers. Rob serves as Chair on the Construction Industry Advisory Council for the University of Washington, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Washington. Rob was also an appointed member of the Project Review Committee which serves under the CPARB state of Washington legislative arm, to ensure that alternative project delivery applications meet the intent of statute RCW 39.10.

Contributing more than 17 years of experience in construction, John has delivered over $1 billion worth of work on a wide variety of noteworthy, award-winning projects across the Puget Sound Region. John has demonstrated strength in outstanding leadership & customer service, operational excellence, a commitment to team member development and ability to direct field operations successfully. John’s projects have received numerous national awards from organizations like the NAIOP, AIA, DBIA and APWA. His focus on alternative delivery and history of success has led him to speak professionally on Design-Build, GCCM and Integrated Project Delivery at DBIA, LCI Congress, AIA, SCUP and more.

Coupled with his extensive experience in prefabrication, LEAN construction principles and modular construction, John has a proven history of building high-performing teams and always acts in the best interest of the project. Most importantly to John, is the amazing relationships and a truly deep care for the continued success of his clients and will engage to any extent ensuring the successful completion of your project.

Kelly Price is the CEO of GenCap Construction Corp. as well as the President and Co-Founder of MainStreet Property Group LLC leading the operations and strategy of these companies. Mr. Price is a seasoned real estate executive with over twenty years of experience in the Seattle and Eastside marketplace and has completed billions of dollars in financial and real estate transactions.

In 2020 GenCap Construction won over $100 Million in projects bringing vitality and exponential growth to downtown cores, including mixed-use projects, retail, restaurants and more. The company continues to pursue additional opportunities across the Puget Sound region.

In addition to GenCap and MainStreet, Mr. Price is the Managing Partner of Insite Property Solutions (www.insitepropertysolutions.com), a boutique property management and investment firm located in Kirkland, Washington.

From 2001-2011, Mr. Price served as CFO and strategic executive of CamWest Development LLC while the company became one of the largest residential developers and homebuilders in the Puget Sound region. In November 2011, Mr. Price facilitated the sale of CamWest to Toll Brothers, Inc., a privately traded homebuilder (NYSE:TOL). During his tenure at CamWest, he executed more than $500 million in debt equity financing. Under his leadership, CamWest successfully implemented “Lean Manufacturing” concepts across all aspects of the company and lean improvement efforts realizing more than $10 million in cost savings while reducing cycle times and standardizing operational activities company-wide.

Prior to CamWest, from 1996-2001, Mr. Price was an initial employee and Chief Financial Officer of Emeritus Corporation (NYSE:ESC). Mr. Price joined Emeritus early on in its growth and successfully facilitated more than $2 billion of financial transactions, including debt (convertible, senior, subordinated) and equity (venture capital, preferred stock), and led Emeritus’ successful $100 million Initial Public Stock Offering (IPO) in 1996. Upon his departure, Emeritus was one of the largest assisted living developers and operators in the United States with more than 6,000 employees and operations in 37 states and Japan and continues to be a leader in the industry today.

Throughout his career, Mr. Price has held a number of Board of Director positions including the Master Builders Association, Village Theater, University of Washington Bookstore and has served as a speaker and panelist on a variety of real estate and Finance topics. He is a current member of the Urban Land Institute, the Association for Corporate Growth, the 101 Club where he is a board member and the Rapha Cycle Club. Mr. Price graduated from the University of Washington Foster School of Business and lives in the Seattle area with his wife and 2 daughters and is an avid Husky fan, cyclist, golfer, hiker and cross country skier. He is also a passionate supporter of the Ben Towne Foundation, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Sammamish Presbyterian Church, Issaquah Schools Foundation and in 2010-2011 lived in Paris, France with his family.

Eric Campbell is the Chairman of GenCap Construction Co and Chief Executive Officer of MainStreet Property Group LLC., leading real estate development and construction-management firms dedicated to the vision, construction, and operation of landmark properties throughout the Puget Sound Region.

Eric is also a Managing Member at Insite Property Solutions, which specializes in the management of multi-family properties.

In his myriad roles, Eric is widely recognized for his dynamic industry leadership. He has successfully overseen billions of dollars in real estate transactions, leading the helm in the purchase, development, and operations of award-winning, mixed-used communities.

Eric is the former Owner and President of CamWest Development LLC, an industry-recognized company he founded in 1990. He sold CamWest for $150 million to Toll Brothers, the largest homebuilder in revenue in the Puget Sound region. From 2012 to 2015, Eric led the successful transition of CamWest to Toll Brothers, which was completed in early 2015.

Throughout the course of his decades long career, Eric has received significant accolades for his professional accomplishments. In 2012, under Eric’s leadership, CamWest-Toll Brothers was recognized with the prestigious Gold Nugget Award and the Dream Home Award for Historic Renovation for its innovative urban infill community, Nettleton Commons. Prior to that, CamWest’s signature affordable community, Greenbrier Heights in Woodinville, was honored with the Governor’s Legacy of Livable Communities and VISION 2020 Awards.

Eric was recognized as the 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year for Construction and Real Estate in the Pacific Northwest. He also received the King County Earth Hero Award in 2005 for his commitment to green practices in the development of Shamrock Heights, a 4-star, Built Green, Low Impact Demonstration Community in Renton Highlands.

During his tenure, Eric has implemented Lean practices, strategic planning programs, and key marketing initiatives that led to long-range initiatives not only for the companies he led but for the Master Builders Association, Imagine Housing, and the University of Washington Runstad Center.

Eric lives on the Eastside with his wife and two twin boys and is a graduate of the University of Washington. He currently serves on the advisory board at UW’s Runstad Center and the Center for Real Estate Research.

Jackie brings more than 15 years of experience in finance and management in real estate to her role as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for overseeing GenCap’s finances, accounting, reporting, operations, corporate policies, human resources, and risk management. Jackie also manages the company’s lending and investor relationships.

Prior to MainStreet, Jackie served as Controller for the West Coast homebuilder, Geonerco Management LLC, where she was in charge of all financial reporting, internal audit and accounting functions for three decentralized homebuilding offices.

Jackie is a Washington State licensed CPA with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Gonzaga University. She is an active member of CFMA, ULI and CREW. Jackie is dedicated to working out, taking long walks or bike rides around her neighborhood trails, running and skiing. She and her husband, William, have a daughter, Lauren, and reside in Woodinville.

Driven to build and retain client relationships through strategic corporate engagement and ongoing customer service initiatives.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Katie Cartwright specializes in strategic brand development, managing the creation of the product voice and brand identity all the way through to the retail sales and resident living experience. During her tenure at GenCap Construction, Katie has successfully launched more than 10 new apartment community projects, including spearheading the customer experience for more than 1,200 new residents. Most recently, Katie was selected to head up GenCap’s first "For Sale" townhome project, The Landing, a 58-home project located in Downtown Bothell.

Prior to GenCap, Katie honed her unique marketing skill set on both the client and agency sides. Katie started her career at Saatchi & Saatchi, working on the Toyota and Scion national automotive brands, and then moved on to J. Walter Thompson, where she managed a $21 million dollar advertising budget for the Northwest Ford Dealer Association account. Taking what she learned from her agency days, Katie then became a consultant for numerous nonprofits and startups, providing media buying, sales, branding, website and social media support.

Katie currently is a member of various real estate organizations: Urban Land Institute, Commercial Real Estate Development Association, CREW- Commercial Real Estate Women and Washington Multi-Family Housing Association.

Katie graduated from the University of Oregon's Journalism school with an emphasis in Advertising. She lives in Northeast Seattle, and keeps busy as a mom of two children, Reilly and Jack, and as a volunteer at The Healing Center, a nonprofit grief-support organization.

As the Vice President of Human Resources for GenCap, Chantel leads the overall human resources strategy including talent acquisition, professional development, policy review and implementation, benefits and compensation management, compliance, and employee engagement. She works with leaders across the organization to ensure successful implementation of HR policies and programs.

Prior to GenCap, Chantel managed a team of 300+ employees and held various leadership roles in Human Resources, Operations, and Logistics at the Target Corporation.

Chantel graduated from the University of Washington in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration: Human Resources and Finance. She currently serves on the UW Undergraduate Women in Business Alumni Advisory Board. Chantel is a Real Estate Broker in the State of Washington and serves on the Education Committee for Washington Multi-Family Housing Association (WMFHA). Chantel enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their three-year-old son, Jackson.

With both a project management and estimating background in multiple product types, Nate understands the full scope required to put together a project. He understands that every project needs to fit the final end user. He provides constant cost and constructability feedback to the project team in order to make timely and informed designs to keep design and construction moving forward. Nate’s 14 years of project delivery experience (Design-Build, Design-Assist, Bid-Build) has given him the ability to minimize the risk inherent in the design and construction process ensuring that both the owner and architect’s final goals are realized.

Nate is driven to listen to you and understand your project’s needs to ensure we cover all costs from early project concept. Nate’s keen ability to be creative and provide innovative approaches and solutions on a project-by-project basis allows him to identify, adapt to and resolve complex issues or find solutions to problems as they arise. His effective leadership participation in a team environment also allows him to work efficiently with both external and internal teammates throughout the life-cycle of a project.

As Chief Estimator, Sean is responsible managing the overall estimating process in conjunction with the project budget during the preconstruction phase. This includes conception and target value estimating, cost studies, budget tracking/updates, and developing scopes of work for subcontractor. Sean is deeply involved in the preconstruction process and works hand-in-hand with the Director of Preconstruction to ensure budget certainty, and a well-planned out construction approach.

Sean brings over 21 years of preconstruction experience in the Seattle and Eastside markets. Sean's unique skills in conceptual estimating and value engineering make him a valuable resource for budget and constructability feedback during the preconstruction phase.

Leading with best-in-class financial reporting and real-time project revenue/cost/margin analysis, Gavin understands the importance for project teams and the organization to have readily available, accurate and reliable financial reporting in order to take decisive actions during bidding, preconstruction design, construction execution and project closeout. Throughout the entire life-cycle of each project, Gavin provides an understanding of the fundamentals behind the decisions made and provides clarity through data driven reporting and forecasting.

Bringing almost 10 years of construction experience, Gavin’s industry expertise allows for clear financial guidance, without being overloaded with data, pulling out the most important KPI’s for project teams and each user within the organization. This allows for GenCap to operate with confidence throughout each project and allows for real-time risk mitigation, should an issue arise. There is no one-size-fits all approach to giving each user the tools they need to operate effectively, and Gavin prides himself on providing customizable financial solutions with the ability to automate reporting so as to not allow reporting to become a burden on the organization. GenCap operates with custom applications and a lean mentality.

With 30 years of construction experience after serving in the military, Patrick started his career in metal fabrication and residential construction while attending college. His efforts in school provided an analytical education with a degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Idaho, while his after-school activities allowed him to learn the basics of construction. Post graduation, Patrick had the opportunity to learn the heavy civil industrythrough a wide assortment of projects and scopes to acquire unique skills as a well-rounded construction professional.

His past 9 years of experience have been within commercial and multi-family/mixed-use building construction. With skill in scheduling, estimating, project management, and actively managing work, Patrick provides a full spectrum of knowledge and ability to assist with the development of the work GenCap provides to its clients. Patrick leads to bring projects from start to completion successfully.

Having spent most of his career delivering projects through progressive delivery methods, Matt Smith is passionate about collaboration and problem solving as a team. The majority of his projects have been design-build (progressive and traditional) at the University of Washington, University of Washington Tacoma, and local technical colleges. When joining GenCap, he took responsibility for the complex Woodinville Civic Campus project and leading a team that has satisfied multiple owners with an on-time and under budget product. Matt’s experience with progressive delivery has strengthened his understanding of how a project can be most effectively designed and delivered. As a Project Executive he takes responsibility for the success of his teams and strives to stay engaged with all facets of the design and construction process.

In his relatively short career, Matt has built data centers, historical renovations, a utility plant, numerous academic buildings and even a seawall. Always drawing from this wide variety of experiences and projects, he is people and process focused. He appreciates the variety of teams he has been a part of and likes to draw from those experiences to make each project greater than the last.

Matt holds degrees in both Architecture and Construction Management from Washington State University and is a certified DBIA professional.

During his span of nearly 25 years of construction experience, Jeremy has built facilities in the hospitality, higher education, renewable energies, health care, mission critical, and sports markets. Throughout his career, Jeremy has consistently grown his expertise in LEAN and continuous improvement techniques which has contributed to delivering many successful projects and enduring professional relationships. This experience, as well as Jeremy being a DBIA professional and Design-Build proponent, has played a role in recent successful projects for The University of Washington Tacoma and the West coast’s first two fully modular prefabricated hotels.

As Field Operations Manager, Jeremy shares his passion for building exceptional structures, proven ability to lead teams and actively grow people’s careers all while pursuing high quality, safe, and timely construction projects.

Jeremy is a graduate of Construction Management from Central Washington University and enjoys time outdoors skiing, fishing, and boating with friends and family. In his spare time, he also loves the lifelong, self-taught pursuit of playing guitar.

As the Director of People, Tracie works hand in hand with the VP of Human Resources to manage the full life cycle of human resources for GenCap. From the new hire process, to professional development, to payroll, and benefits administration, Tracie is the go-to resource for team members. She also ensures compliance with local and federal regulations through the creation and implementation of HR policies and practices. Additionally, she strives to build GenCap’s culture through employee engagement.

Tracie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration: Human Resources from the University of Washington. Tracie remains involved with UW’s Foster School of Business through her work with the Undergraduate Women in Business Association. She is currently the chair of their Alumni Advisory Board where she mentors young women pursuing careers in business.
